I’m missing Miami

Long time no post here…

Many things happened, most of them pretty good news, so I’m fine but I’m missing Miami and South Florida. And this kind of video doesn’t help at all :-)

Enjoy !

Charity Water turns 5

I have nothing to add, as Scott explain – and sell – perfectly this new idea to celebrate Charity Water turning 5.

Inspired now ? I was sure you’ll be ;-)
So time to act by relaying, giving, organizing… and whatever can make it go one step further.
I’m on my way too, by the way…

Working from Home: Try Now !

I love the idea of having all my team working from wherever they are, whenever they want. Of course, it includes working from Home.

But if your company still have to deal with a culture that let the management think one needs to have people under control all day long to be productive, convincing your boss to let you work the way you want can be a long and tough journey.

Thanks to MindFlash, here’s a decision tree that may help you ;-)

As I said earlier, it’s a long and tough journey but it’s worth giving it a try ;-)

Anonymous wants to destroy Facebook

Anonymous has just released a new video on Facebook and Youtube, explaining why they think Facebook is not compliant with their vision of what the Internet should be and announcing an operation that will aim to destroy Facebook on November 5th 2011.

The main reason is the lack of respect for Privacy and User rights.

Even if this warning seems to come out of a science fiction movie, Anonymous is a very serious group that has already scored some nice success in its quest for a free Internet. I think Facebook should take this video seriously.

Announcing in July an operation for November is also a good way to put the social network under pressure and force it to move to another way of dealing with privacy.

Wait and see what’s going to happen now…

Google Please Hire Him !

His name is Matthew Epstein and he wants to join the Product Marketing Team at Google. There were some metrics around about one year ago indicating Google was receiving up to 75,000 resumes a week !

Matthew has decided to make it different and his own way. He’s created a nice Google+ style website and then, published this video.

Of course, he’s doing so to get a job there, but also to show he can handle complex problems and solve them, at least on the marketing side.

I really love this idea and hope he’ll get the job.

Google, please hire him ! ;-)

Coming soon… and overloaded !

Those you know me know I love prospective. I have a lot of pleasure trying to figure out how life will be in 2020, 2050 and sometimes next month :-)

I’ve found this amazing infographic made by Cisco, talking about the Internet of Things. It’s not just mobiles, PC or tablets but “regular” devices such as your fridge, your car or your favorite rocking chair…
